Our local diving clubs, Rocky Mountain Diving Club and Dive Calgary, enjoy the fabulous hospitality and world-class facilities of the Talisman Centre.  But in January of 2010, that will change – not by choice, but by necessity.

The Talisman roof replacement timeline is 12 months long. The necessary replacement of the roof will vastly improve the operating costs and help maintain a more consistent temperature in the building. This means that our divers do not have to freeze when the ice builds up on the interior wall in the middle of winter.

At this time, both RMDC and Dive Calgary have been working with The Calgary Sports Council and the City of Calgary to find appropriate, suitable facilities within Calgary City limits to continue our programs during the Talisman closure.

Rocky Mountain Diving Programs will continue to operate in 2010 at both Shouldice Pool and SAIT. Please keep an eye on our Programs and Schedules page our Newsletter for more information on classes and schedules.

We thank you for your involvement with our club and look forward to the future when we will again call Talisman Centre home.
