Our Team
Rocky Mountain Diving Club (RMDC) is made up of the best diving coaches Calgary has to offer. Our coaches are nationally (NCCP) or internationally certified instructors with personal experience in coaching and diving. Our coaches are constantly monitored and trained to ensure they are providing the best and safest instruction possible.
Our program is also monitored and supported by Dive Calgary's (Calgary's only competitive diving club) Head Coach and core coaching staff to ensure that our programs are in line with current diving standards and to ensure the instruction our students get helps further their individual diving goals.
Our Head Coach
Ruby Tang
Ruby became a member of the Hong Kong National Gymnastics Team when she was 9, but was forced to withdraw from the sport after suffering a severe injury. She took up diving at the age of 14 and won several gold medals at the Hong Kong Age Group and Open Diving Competitions between 2003 and 2005.
Ruby loves sharing her experience in sports with young children, inspiring their confidence and appreciation for discipline. Graduated in Sports and Recreation Management in Mount Royal University, Ruby has completed her NCCP Competitive-Development certification, and continues to upgrade her leadership skill, coaching skills through practice and interaction.
